Public Invited to Bellator Fighting Championships Weigh-in Ceremony 

WHAT: The media and fans are invited to the weigh-in ceremony for the Bellator Fighting Championships event at The Monroe Civic Center Arena. There is no admission charge for entry.

WHERE/WHEN: The weigh-in will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2009, in the Bayou Room in the Monroe Civic Center at 2:00 pm. The Bellator Fighting Championships event will be held the following night, Friday, May 29.

INFO: The Bellator Fighting Championships are coming to Monroe Louisiana and will be featuring Hector Lombard vs. Damien Stelly and Jared Hess vs. Yosmany Cabezas in the Middleweight Tournament Semi-Final. This event is being called one of the biggest in the city’s history. Don’t miss it!

After the weigh-in, Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney, Kerry Daigle of Keeppunching Entertainment, Mayor James E. Mayo and several of the warriors scheduled for battle will be available for interviews, autographs and pictures.

Tickets are on sale now at all Ticketmaster outlets and the Monroe Civic Center Box Office (401 Lea Joyner Memorial Expressway, Monroe, (318) 329-2225) and are priced at $40, $25 and $15.
