Dreams, Fairy Tales and Miracles
Dreaming gives us the opportunity to paint a beautiful canvas in our minds. Whether we hang that beautiful picture or canvas where we can see it depends a lot on who you choose to share that ‘painting’ with. Dreams are so powerful. They turn in fairy tales and then from there into miracles. You’ve heard the quote, “If you believe it, you can achieve it.” It is so true. Where are your dreams today? Do you carry them with you on that hard drive we call ‘the mind’? Or do you erase and delete them because someone, somewhere, possibly a good friend or peer at work, created a virus on your hard drive in your mind and had that dream deleted with the words, “You can’t”.
Many people share their dreams with all the wrong people. You will hear “You can’t do that, how silly?”…..”Are you sure?..I can’t believe that will work”, or “You can’t let those silly dreams disrupt your family life”. Sometimes when you have that vision and excitement and you are shooting for the stars, someone shoots at your heart. This type of negative reaction all comes down to your environment. As Maw Maw Daigle always taught me, “You become who you hang around with”. She would continue, “Hang around a thief long enough you will learn how to lose credibility and become a thief…..hang around successful people long enough you will become successful. Be beware of the ‘dreams stealers’.” Every dream starts out with a beautiful painting on the canvas of our minds. What happens with that painting (dream) depends on who you choose to share that experience with.
“The more you risk being ‘rejected’, the better of your chance of being “accepted” by learning who you truly need to associate with. Follow your dreams.”
Sharing your dreams with the right person or persons has a completely different effect. Instead of “You can’t” you will receive the encouragement and support to make that painting (dream) into a beautiful masterful piece of art that will make everyone “gasp” once they see what you see. From there, the ‘fairy tales’ turn into reality and then miracles happen. I know. They’ve happened to me. Of course, I’ve had a edge on everyone reading this. I had Maw Maw and Paw Paw Daigle. They taught me the power of the dream.
“You can’t say the right thing to the wrong person and you can’t say the wrong thing to the right person.”
I love my business(es). Sharing my whole food concentrate (Juice Plus) with the world can change lives by making people feel better. When people feel better they think better. They respond to situations versus reacting to them. My team of ‘messengers’ are all high energy, think positive, believe in their dreams and are also developing tremendously strong businesses for themselves. My other business of promoting professional boxing gives me the opportunity to assist amateur prize-fighters to follow their dreams of becoming world champions. This is what makes life worth while. As Maw Maw and Paw Paw always told me, “Get in the dream business”. It can be life altering for you too, once you follow your dreams and help others achieve theirs.
Here a few tips to encourage you to dream again.
1.) Who are you? Do you know yourself or forgotten that person? Was your dream stolen from you as a child, student, or employee? Find yourself again. Spend ½ hour a day sitting alone and dreaming again. What creates passion for you? Excitement? Smiles and enjoyment? Once you find that place you can shoot for the stars.
2.)Join the eagles and get rid of the ducks. You don’t need meaningless quacking around you everyday. Find the eagles. Make them your mentors and learn from them. Yes, there are positive people in the world. You might just be hanging around the wrong crowd. Paw Paw always told me there was only one negative person in the whole world. They just move around a lot. Get away from that person.
3.)Read the right books. Maw Maw couldn’t read or write but she knew the power of reading because she didn’t have the ability to enjoy that benefit. She encouraged me to read, read, and read more. Her thoughts were simple ones. “A person who doesn’t read books is no better off than a person who can’t read. I know because I can’t read,” quote Maw Maw. Of course, read the right books. Books on positive thinking, personal development, self help, motivation. You have two choices. To be brainwashed into negative thinking or positive thinking. Which route are you going to take?
4.)Always be grateful. I always remember no matter how hard times were growing up that my grandparents always had a smile for everyone and was so very grateful for the things we did have instead of the things we didn’t have. Their comments were to always build on the strengths and forget about the weaknesses and the strengths will always overcome the weakness. Look for the good in people not the bad. If you see someone without a smile, give them yours. If you feel grateful then everything else you do and become is a bonus.
5.)Never, never, never, ever give up. You must persist and you must learn to be patient. Respond to situations don’t react. Stay focused. Problems will arise to test you and the power of your dream and whether you will do what is necessary to turn that dream into a fairy tale. Never look at how thing don’t work. Focus on ‘how to make them work”. Remember obstacles and problems are only tests to see if you are willing to overcome them to reach out and find the opportunity. Paw Paw said it best, “Challenges are nothing more than opportunities in disguise.”
I hope that I can reach that one person today to respond and read this message over and over again sharing it with those they love. If I did reach you I am happy. That is my job. Maw Maw and Paw Paw Daigle said so.
