I read an article where Tarver said he has cleaned out the Light heavyweight
division. Are you Crazy.
There are more than a few Light heavyweights you can fight, me being one of them.
You beat Roy Jones who was scared to gamble your last fight and the fight before
that you barely edged out Glen Johnson who barely edged you out in the first fight,
and then there's me who fought you in 2002 putting my USBA and NABF title on the
line plus my # 2 ranking by fighting you because that's what real Champions do,
they fight whoever where ever.
Trust me I do know there's the business end of things so you fighting Hopkins may make
sense to your bank acount and the boxing fans but here's something to think about...
how about you fighting the one guy who had you down and almost out, who gave you an
opportunity? GOD honors those that return favors.
I know what you're thinking... Reggie you and I don't make sense money wise right now....
I'm ahead of you Tarver. Here's a situation where you can kill two birds with one stone.
I'm willing to work for my opportunity so how about we stage Johnson vs Johnson and the
winner gets the Magic Man. This sounds like the ideal thing to do and I'm willing to
bet you that HBO, Showtime and the fight fans will sign off on this one. Taver...
no Magic disappearing acts with this one... all me and the fight fans want is positive
feedback from you.
