Scott Wins Impressively in Houston!

Last night, September 29 in Houston, Texas, at the fabulous Houston Club downtown a huge white collar crowd of oil executives filled the arena to see a 6’ 8” heavyweight hopeful that America can be proud of.

Shannon Caudle was a previous opponent of two upcoming prospects, Deontay Wilder and George Foreman III, losing both by stoppage in the first round. Wilder, the Olympian, knocked out Caudle in one round and Foreman had a technical knockout win in one round. Scott did the same but in a masterful way. He broke Caudle’s nose and knocked him out in 2 minutes. Caudle’s reputation as a puncher with 8 knockouts in 9 wins was evident as he tried overhand rights to counter Scott’s jab which left him open to a short uppercut that felled the Arkansas native. Does this mean Scott fights Wilder or Foreman? Probably not. I’m certain Wilder or Foreman have other plans than to meet the 6’ 8” power puncher with quick hands from Houston.

“There’s always pressure when a young prospect enters the ring and he’s compared to other heavyweight hopefuls,” says Kerry Daigle, Scott’s agent. “Skip knew the results everyone was expecting and he did so with much more impressive power and speed than the guys he is being compared to. He is now preparing for another 8-10 rounder against formidable opposition and won’t let anyone down. He is the type of fighter when matched for a championship is not interested in looking pretty or getting a payday but one who wants to win and win impressively, preferable by knockout,” concludes Daigle.

Savarese Promotions of Houston, Texas run by Lou Savarese, the big heavyweight who fought on national television numerous times has nothing but impressive words for Scott. “Skip is a physical marvel and without question is a huge draw for us in Houston” states Savarese. “America needs a guy who is a great interview, dresses sharp, and can fight. We are fortunate he came to us. I expect great things from Skip. He reminds me of a Lennox Lewis but taller. He impresses me every time I see him spar. The Houston crowd is in love with him,” Savarese says with a huge smile on his face.

Offers from various parts of the country and Europe have come to the table for this giant heavyweight. Scott just smiles when asked ‘What’s next?’ and says, “It doesn’t matter. Whoever Kerry wants to put in front of me, I’m ready. There are guys in the top 15 I would like such as Hasim Rachman and Ray Austin along with some of the other veterans. I also think Tyson Fury in Europe and myself in a 10-12 round match, two big guys, in 2012 would be interesting television,” concludes Scott.

Who knows what’s next? Heavyweight boxing is unpredictable. One thing is certain. America wants an action heavyweight who comes to win. Skip Scott is that guy and will be a story soon that America will embrace. The light is shining on Skip ‘Strictly Business’ Scott. America is tuning in as evident with the huge following in Houston, Texas for Strictly Business Scott.
